I was born in London in 1974, we moved to Holland and lived there until I was six years old. In 1980 my parents came to Northern Ireland and saw a building to let. They decided to open a Greek Restaurant called Symposium, it was the start of many restaurants that we opened.
After I finished school I went to catering college in Belfast, at the time I thought I would also like to work in the catering industry, My first job outside of our own restaurants, was training in the cold starters and pastry section of a restaurant called Roscoff, Which was the first restaurant in Northern Ireland to get a Michelin Star.
I had a few other jobs in various cooking roles and then ended up working as pastry chef in Shanks restaurant in Bangor, which also happened to win a michelin star award while I was working there. When I was 25 I decided I no longer wanted to live in a kitchen and became an online marketer
Throughout my travelling through Europe, living in Holland and working in restaurants I discovered and cooked a lot of recipes which were delicious, And thought I could create this website to share some of them with the rest of the world.
